Mote Marine Laboratory is an independent, nonprofit research institution advancing marine science, education, and conservation. Mote leads cutting-edge coral restoration in Florida, cultivating resilient corals and restoring degraded reefs through outplanting and innovative propagation. Their work includes integrating herbivorous species like crabs and urchins to control algal overgrowth and support reef recovery. Mote also operates the Beach Conditions Reporting System (BCRS), providing real-time coastal data on water quality, harmful algal blooms, and beach health.

KeysArts.org is the official site of the Florida Keys Council of the Arts (also known as Keys Arts), the designated local arts agency for Monroe County, spanning Key Largo to Key West. As a nonprofit, it provides grants, operates the Art in Public Places initiative, and maintains a hub for regional cultural events and educational programming.
